Reverend Eugene Lyons, age 64, died Sunday , January 14, 2018.  Borned, June 9 1953 in Edgecombe Cty. to Milbert Lyons Sr. and Louise Alston Lyons.

He was the Pastor of Messiah Baptist Church in Whitakers N.C.

One Son: Cedric J. Lyons Of Woodbridge Va. and One Daughter: Misheer Lyons Of Raleigh N.C.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, January 20, 2018  from The Sanctuary of Red Hill Baptist Church 15463 NC-33, Whitakers, NC 

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, January 19, 2018 from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
