Ayana Ashaki Sharpe 25, from Tarboro died on October 21, 2018. She was born January 13, 1993. Funeral Services will be Saturday at 12:30pm in Scotland Neck NC. at Kingdom Empowerment Ministries. A viewing will be Friday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home from 6pm to 8pm. She has always been a representive of her name: which means Beautiful, Beautiful Flower. Ayana went to school in Edgecombe County for 11 years, and graduated from Southwest Guildford High School in High Point NC. She joined K.E.M. on April 15, 2018. Ayana was parent of the year in 2018 for Hammonds Head Start in Tarboro NC.

Ayana leaves to cherish her memories a Daughter: MaKensie Asiyah Underhill, Parents: James and Elwerna Sharpe, One Brother: Victor Jones, Three sisters: Nikeya Barkley, Vanessa Jones, Uneika Godard, Grandmother: Lou Ella Sharpe.
