Vernell Lewis Whitehead

Vernell Lewis Whitehead, 64 of Nashville was born November 18, 1954 to the late Percy and Elmeta Jones, Lewis of Nashville NC. She departed this life on Monday November 4,2019 at Duke Hospital in Durham NC. Vernell graduated from Northern Nash High School and furthered her education at Shaw University with a degree in Business Management. She had a true passion of learning and talking the love of Jesus. There was nothing that Vernell wouldn't do to help someone in need, and whatever the task, there was always a smile on her face.

Left to cherish her memories, Husband: Bruce Whitehead, Daughters: Erica of the home, Heather (Jermain) Lynch, Grandchildren: Asia and Nizier Lucas, Sisters: Carolyn Lewis Of Burlington NC, Mildred (Tommy) of Chesapeake Va., and Michelle Graham of Durham, NC. And a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services: November 9, 2019, at 11am, Bunn Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
