On Monday Morning, November 30, 2020, God picked one of his flowers from the garden in the soul of Cynthia Dancy Douglas.
She was born February 17, 1963 in Edgecombe County and graduated from North Edgecombe High School in Leggett, NC, where she was active in sports. She became a member of Leggett Chapel Missionary Baptist Church at an early age where she continued to fellowship throughout her adult life. She also atttended Three Dimensional Ministries of Elm City, NC, with her daughter when she was able. She was preceded in death by her Husband Haywood Douglas and Father the late Floyd Dancy Sr.
She leave to cherish her memories: Her Mother Dorothy Dancy of Dunbar NC, Her Daughter Shayla Dancy of Rocky Mount NC; Step Daughter Kisha Dickens Taylor (Dameain) of Whitakers NC; Son Demont Dancy (Joshlynn) of Hampton VA; Special friend and partner in life Angelo Hardy of the Home, three sisters; Dorothy Dancy(Charlie) of Rocky Mount NC, Gwendolyn Blackwell of Dunbar NC, and Latisha Dancy-Parker(Jermine) of Nashville NC; two Brothers Floyd Dancy Jr and Chatmon Dancy both of Dunbar NC; 11 Grandchilden; 1 Great-grandchild; 11 nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
