Louise, daughter of the late Lula Mae Silver and William (Bud) Whitehead was born January 9, 1941 in Whitakers NC. She departed her life on March 3, 2021 at Nash Health Care Systems. Louise was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece and friend. Many called her several names like Ma Lou, Granny, Lou Gal. She loved to cook, sew, and do her puzzle books. She was a member of Greater Mount Hermon Baptist Church, a member of the Nurses Association of the church and a member of the Senior Chior.
She leaves to cherish her memories, three sons: Leevern Silver of Greenville, NC, Michael Silver (Roxanne) of Chesterfield VA. and Tony Ricks of the home. Two daughters: Shelia Ricks (Danny) of Avondal Arizona, and Kimberly Gray (Richard) of Rocky Mount, NC. Six sisters: Lillie Mae Cherry, Queen Silver, Jean Sumerlin, Helen Arrington, Christine Parker and Patricia Harrison all of Rocky Mount NC. One brother Zollie Silver of Rocky Mount, three half sisters: Gloria Bryant, Patricia Wright and Ethel Black. Two half brothers: Curt Edmondson and James Bryant. Eighteen Grandchildren, Twenty-one great-grand children. Three special friends Debbie Parker, Alma Richardson and James Murphy all of Rocky Mount NC. And a host of other relatives and friends.
