Marvin Battle

Marvin Battle was born on October 10, 1955 in Battleboro, North Carolina to the late James and Mary Graham Battle. He departed this life on August 3, 2021 at UNC Nash Health Care. He graduated from Rocky Mount Senior High School and enlisted into the U.S. Navy. He also served in several other branches of the military. Marvin lived several years in New Port News Virginia later he returned home and retired. Marvin was a handyman. He could fix anything. He would help anyone who was in need. He was a quiet gentle soul with a big heart. In addition to his parents, he was preceeded in death by three brothers, James Battle Jr "Punnie", Roger Lee Battle "Bat", Carl Lonnell Battle "CLB".

He Leaves to cherish his memory Four brothers: Richard Battle, Elder Sylvester Battle(Patricia), Anthony Battle and Michael Battle. One sister Hattie Battle Carey(Mickey) all of Rocky Mount NC. Two special friends: Brenda Kearney of New Port News Va. and  Jessie Hinton (Big Boy) a host of neices and nephews, relatives and friends.
